Meet our 2025 Global CSR Program awardees. International Medical Corps: An organization that provides emergency relief to those struck by conflict, disaster, and disease. Nancy Aossey, President & CEO, International Medical Corps: We were so excited when we heard that we were selected. And even more so, and honored, when it was as a result of the employees of Takeda voting on our project. So, that recognition means so much to all of us. It’s going to basically shore up access to health facilities for literally millions of women and children across Kenya and Somalia. Society of Critical Care Medicine: An organization dedicated to promoting excellence and consistency in the practice of critical care. Jose L. Pascual, President, Society of Critical Care Medicine: This project, which makes reliable the care of so many providers at bedside for the sickest patients in a situation where people don’t realize it, but when hospitals don’t have dependable electrical energy, then the care cannot be delivered and patients don’t do well with that. And so this project was voted upon. We are so proud that it was chosen. And I think it will do a lot of good. United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS): An organization that provides infrastructure, procurement, and project management services for a sustainable world. Sanjay Mathur, Regional Director, UNOPS: This will be Bangladesh’s first climate-resilient and fully integrated medical waste management system. I think it’s the potential for the systematic change that is related to this project. It’s not just about handling waste, it’s about transforming how health care systems manage risk, protect frontline workers, and safeguard the environment. Vitamin Angels: A public health nonprofit working to improve nutrition for pregnant women, infants, and young children. Ana Céspedes, CEO, Vitamin Angels: The most exciting thing about this funding is that we can work end to end. We are going to work with regulators, policymakers, suppliers, health care professionals, and the families, so we can impact from the beginning to the end.
